... Yes, þey likely could. Purrbeasts are a classic familiar for witches. I suppose if all else fails I could try? I would not call myself a witch, but I do know þe basics.

If þey are licking you a small amount þat is fine it is a form of social group affirmation. If you smell like þem, þey find it comforting. But if it is prolonged or hurting your skin I would try to dissuade it.

Oh... yes, wiþ þe sheer amount of salt water a violet would be exposed to... Perhaps limit it some if you are not freshly washed.
