I've finally figured out how to create a synthetic skin that not only reconfigures itself when damaged, but is also akin to a non-Newtonian substance in that when struck it is extremely sturdy. That being said, the regeneration might be moot. But at the very least they'll be able to make self repairs autonomously both externally and internally without needing my input.
