Gotta agree, don't get it twisted I like its power system but eh, the world building and plot were just not my cup of tea.
s0me fanservice is necessary for gatekeeping purp0ses but that amo character was definitely drawn and c0ncepted with one fr0nd only. fucking f0ot stank mind c0ntrol. i like that thus far the main character's p0wer requires eclectic usage instead of the expected biggest stat stick but we'll see if the pl0t amounts tw0 more than 'sphere bad because it just is 0kay?'
I suppose so, but I'm keeping my optimism rather low, but I can't judge to harshly cause some of the anime I like is basically nothing but pure fighting at times.
the initial scene with the designated childh0od friend girl rubbed me the wr0ng way from the getg0. they waste time establishing that she does n0t believe the rumors ab0ut him, only tw0 instead turn around and g0 actually she definitely did and immediately turned on rud0 at the first opp0rtunity. pointlessly edgy. either set up that she was treating him like a charity case, 0r have her doubt the auth0rities. not like she c0uld've done shit ab0ut it anyways so the pl0t would n0t change.
