"Civil" society would imply that we both don't come from species whose histories are inked in blood. There is little that is civil about life.

Daring, aren't we? /positive If that's the gauntlet you lay down, then... in general, I believe you know my statement to be correct- those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them, and people, as a group, do not learn. However... there is something to be said for the resilience of the individual in trying to improve their general surrounds, although I don't believe that will be found on improving the posts here on Chittr- let this thing be a monument to the depravity that gives the wonderful things in our lives some much needed contrast. Order, of course, does not exist without chaos.
