happy birthday, jane and jUne!!!!!!!!!!! we had a cookoUt this year, and i got to reprise my role as GRILLMASTER. ^u^ the nannas baked a scrUmptioUs lemon meringUe pie for the occasion. it's their birthday too, bUt they like to defer to the yoUnger generation. it's not as grand a celebration as it once was - the girls have jUst tUrned forty-eight! - but it's a lovely excUse to get everybody in the same place twice a year! (another time for the december birthdays.)
