unpopular opinion: whatever those devices these "humans" call "cars" is only marginally better than the locomotive devices we have on alternia. yes i know they don't run on hemoglobins but they instead run on fossil fuels, which come with it's own drawbacks such as: pollution

this is true yeah, they do seem really neat technology-wise. some run off electricity, which is better as a fuel option IMO.
