Echoed are the desperate calls In cruelly dark desolate halls Wishing only for any pulse Yet deeper and so my heart dulls Darker than a grave still mourned With your joy life had been adorned Grief has my memories deformed For your absence they have conformed If I had Just one word One word to say That you would still hear 'Return' is what I'd plead I'd be begging on my knees Even goodbyes would be a treat Unanswered cries are all I bleat, now Just another one I'm just another one Just another person under the sun Of no consequence Is this where it ends? #poem #poetry
