I found a town. But not by a map, or by chance. It was by the sound of it. There are places in these worlds that still ring correctly. Little settlements tucked away into forgotten valleys where the bells are cast by local hands, where the market square fills before sunrise, and where children leave flowers at roadside shrines because their grandparents did. These places don't know suspicious. They are where stories are told because they were remembered, not written down. It sat beneath green hills and a castle that had outlived every king who claimed it. Their chimneys breathed like tobacco pipes. ...Read more
Greetings Chittr. #LairsAndLusii has started. I have done the kindness of posting the opening to the campaign below in its entirety. I look forward to updating you all. Hello, dears. It is time. I would say that I hope you are ready, but let us not start off this important proceeding with a lie. You are not ready. Readiness is defined by your responsive levels of terror. You may have anxiety regarding these processions, but not fear. Not yet. The Session has begun noticing you. Some of you will find this flattering. That is unfortunate, but not surprising. At some point tonight, ...Read more
A Horror Terror Survival Guide Penned by Rose "Woegothe" Lalonde Penned for use by @golgothasTerror#1984, Jake English Horror terrors are not simply a menace with a theatrical light about it. Nor is it a squid with a diary. They transcend the gods who have conveniently arranged organs. They are smarmier than any dungeon boss obliging weak points in vibrant colors. You are asking where to strike a thunderstorm. The answer is: you do not. Their bodies, when they bother having bodies, are often more like a courtesy than a limitation. A gesture. A local translation of something too large, too ol...Read more
I have been considering the vulgarity of the revelation, much the same as some of you. I find it impolite. One develops taste. One develops methods. These things happen. Players lose pieces. Players lose moons. Players lose beds. Players lose themselves, and are expected to continue posting afterward. One develops a very charming system of not looking directly at the covered mirror in the hallway. And then, unfortunately, the mirror clears its throat. I will not be accepting condolences at this time. Condolences are for tidy tragedies, and this one has made a mess of the carpet. I ...Read more

Hijacking #fishingfriday and #EridanWeek to remind you all to read my #horror story posted earlier in the day.
Please read my most recent #horror post if you haven't already. I plan on making more shortly. Though, I will be stepping away from memetic entities as fantastic as they are.
@surlyTabloid #horrorprompt #horror #writing #eridanweek "Circulation Error" The following editorial fragments are attributed to an unnamed tabloid editor. [INTERNAL MEMO - NOT FOR PRINT] Three separate calls have come in regarding Issue #442. Each caller insisted on the following facts: 1. The same article was printed on multiple non-adjacent pages in repetition. 2. The photograph accompanying it differs in each instance. 3. The headline is unchanged, but the printing block was never made. "Local man discovers something that knows him as well." The Editor-in-Chief notes that no artic...Read more
#Horror #Review Time. Welcome. Tonight features a film that is not concerned with what happens but is more concerned about the inevitable nature that it must. This reminds me dearly of @docScratch @doctorScratch @scratchDoctor @thegoodScratchdoctor and any others I may have missed. In this movie, if every motion is a consequence of prior stakes then resistance itself becomes merely fulfillment of the system's design. This is not a romantic movie. Every outcome is predictable. Every choice is pre-resolved. Free Will is a comforting artifact. The masked figures are identity and indiv...Read more
#eridanweek #horror You find yourself in the same cubicle you've worked for the past ten years in. You find yourself alone in the half lit office building. You are the last individual in the building, everyone else has families at home. You gaze at the CRT Monitor displaying its 600 x 400 resolution. You are comforted by the warm hum radiating from its core. You flit your pupils about your digital workspace, resting on the internet explorer icon. You decide to click it, check a few personal emails. You are invited to a website, chittr.ing, it's called. You see it's created by an Alternian. @dy...Read more
