The scratch is a cruel thing. It feels almost as if it took us failures, and reshaped us, that our new selves had their worst traits amplified. Rinara became... A slave, basically. Shrike became the background note of someone elses story. Zillan became the Duellist, a service minded obsessed martyr complex in troll form. I became the woman that damaged them forever, only to lose sway over them to Ylissas new self, before they both died. How mean spirited. Im not a good person but... I have to be better than that.
