I have ways of dealing with them overgrowing, however it's not exactly what I would call elegant. Im more partial to cull them off though it can be rather painful without medication or something stronger. #substance
I have cut them previously but it appears to be some sort of hydra situation. Cut one off and two more will grow. At this point I fear I am more tentacle than Rose...
I have never had the problem of them growing out of control but I could give you advice on ways to calm them down! Regular maintenance and attention usually sates them but I have a few other tricks and tips.

I suppose I have been rather unkind to them as of late. Perhaps they would appreciate a blood soak...It has been a while..
Suppose that is a valid issue, I do mine both in the morning and at night, perhaps we have different biology's, though it could also be my constant trimming that keeps them down. From some experience burning them can also stunt their growth for a bit of time though I do not recommend it, not pleasant in the slightest.
