Warmer than Dersites, certainly. Though the heat doesn't travel as well through shell. Got to factor that in. My chances to skin-on-skin touch have been limited, I'm afraid. Scent definitely varies. But you're looking at something wooly. Baize, maybe. Or a particularly clean cat.
