Mammals. Primates given the curse of knowledge. Stubborn and uncomfortable creatures who 'other' even their own kin. In a way. Humans and Trolls are just the same story told from a different lens. yeah ill agree with you on that one i really dont know what evolution was thinking when it spat our species out like a used wad of gum but somehow we managed to dominate the planet anyway probably our propensity for pointy sticks and working together to build really big things like a bunch of ants that just wont quit even when everything else in the universe is much bigger and much scarier uhh i mean shit man i personally think im a solid 8/10 but youre asking me to rank myself against my own opinion so i cant guarantee thats a solid number
You're right. Purple prose. Bipedal mammals. Most widespread form of primate on home-planet. Mostly-hairless bodies. Bipedal. Dexterous. Highly intelligent with especially prominent cognitive skills for adaptation and the development of sophisticated tools. Highly social. Lack "romantic quadrants" aside from Flushed. Although I have seen humans develop pitch feelings..? It just isn't a cultural thing.
