D --> #equiusvault Number 6: My bow D --> Status: In Use D --> It's been a little bit since I've done one of these but since I just mentioned my bow I figured it'd be as good a time as any to make a post about the bow I've been using D --> Both components of the bow, the act001 body and the string, were both gifts I received for last 12th Perigee's Eve from two separate people D --> The body of the bow is handcrafted from wyvern bowns, which are STRONG and yet fle%ible enough to create a powerful and heavy draw D --> The bones are black which makes for quite the striking appearance, and I think the material is especially effective at channeling the darker end of the magic of the string D --> The string, called "The string of twisted fates" grants the arrows either a type of holy magic (for lack of a better term as I did not create the magic myself) power to it's strikes or a sort of rotting, grimdark magic D --> Both types have a sort of area of effect, where the grimdark magic can damage someone else who is too close, making it suited for handling multiple targets D --> While the holier magic is capable of protecting someone else nearby briefly, making it ideal for when I need to e%tract someone who is in danger from a monster D --> Overall it is a powerful weapon, though I have been considering fashioning a unicorn horn in my possession into a new bow body that would likely work better with the holy side of the string, so as to allow me to lean toward one or the other at will
Woah! That's all super cool! I used to do archery when I was a kid and I've been meaning to get back into it. This is the kind of motivation I needed.

I enjoyed it a lot! It was so much fun to do with my grandma. My sister was more into the swords, though. But archery was always superior. :)
D --> Swords are the second most noble form of combat so that is acceptable too
