To John, June, and even Jinx Egbert, It has come to my attention that you have revolved once again around your majestic star. This quaint ritual is rather important it seems. Though even the smallest loops can feel significant when one lacks a broader vantage point. You may interpret this as congratulations. That would be a naive assumption. Birthdays are less a celebration of origin, and more an acknowledgement of trajectory. Each one places you further along the path you were always meant to walk, whether you understood it at the time or not. Especially you, J. Egbert. I imagine there will be cake, perhaps laughter, and balloons. These objects symbolize levity, a suspension of worry, and ignore the inherent problem of mortality. Enjoy them. All of these fleeting, weightless moments tend to matter more than one would expect, given how thoroughly they are eclipsed by what follows. Do take care in making your wish. You have a habit of doing so at rather pivotal junctures. Still, it is improper not to address the occasion. Though, the bluntness of the old fashioned "Happy Birthday" is rather disgusting. You are exactly where you need to be. Exactly where you were always going to end up. Enjoy the day. You've earned it.
