In my defense, I also don’t believe they would have allowed him to join without an Executive Order. They believed him to be a Dirk variant. I knew he just needed time to prove himself—which didn’t take long. Actions speak significantly louder than words, and he managed to prove himself just fine. I knew him capable immediately—the others just needed time to see it for themselves. However, I could have done things differently. Retrospect is quite the evil mistress.
