In my free time, I enj9y watching the newest crafting c9mmunity drama.
I read this, scrolled by because it sounded lame, and then quickly realized the folly of my ways. I'm here seeking both retribution for the passing glance and also an answer. What in the flying fuck does the craft community have to fight about.
Exactly, that's why it's s9 fun t9 keep up with. 6UT, a l9t 9f drama fr9m scams, fraud, illegal activities (6y human standards), and 9f c9urse, a l9t 9f the drama c9mes fr9m the DIY and Knitting/cr9chet c9mmunity. There is s9, s9, s9 much drama, faking deaths, failing t9 ship 9ut pr9ducts. It's deeply entertaining.
I'm genuinely speechless. Faking deaths. We're sorry, that Etsy order for the wax drip painting of your geriatric cat has been cancelled due to the vendor hiding under their bed and asking if it's okay to come out now.
That's an understatement, f9r instance, I recall, I might 6e misremem6ering. A yarn seller was failing t9 c9mplete 9rders and fulfil refunds, and 9n t9p 9f that, the yarn they did sell falsely advertised the material it was made 9f. An imp9rtant aspect 9f dyed yarn is h9w much it "6leeds" when washed, cause vi6rancy is l9st, s9 pe9ple were paying a l999t 9f m9ney f9r a shitty pr9duct. Instead 9f righting wr9ngs 9r ackn9wledging wr9ngd9ing, the 9wner 9f the Etsy sh9p and st9re page deleted everything and faked their death. Sh9wed up again under a different name with the same pr9duct ph9t9s and selling the same pr9duct, and has managed t9 av9id resp9nsi6ility f9r several years. Which, 6y the way, isn't the first time this s9rt 9f thing has happened in the crafting c9mmunity.
I'm so glad swindling exists in the crafting community. You'd think your work would be recognizable and customers would take notice to a new blog with experience.
Pe9ple did n9tice, 6ut y9u kn9w, never address, never face c9nsequences. Truly, the crafting c9mmunity is rich with pr96lems. It's very funny.
A c9uple 9f gru6tu6ers, and 9r they gracefully unf9ld acr9ss my media feed live.
You're curating the experience of a retiree. And honestly I'm here for it. I didn't realize the debauchery one could cook up with a DIY. Did they not do it themselves?
