It's 5:22 a.m., and Dirk wants to make beatboxing puppy a philosophical dilemma.

Oh yeah, you're fucked. Hide blunt objects and anything sharp. They'll get creative.

😎✨
we've already had a sharp object incident and all it was, was one of em running face first into a wall can't imagine what it'll be like when they actually start having intent

From my experience, it's easier to negate any "intent" with playing games to vent out feelings. So if they get fighty, it's at a game and not with a dangerous object. Keep them productive for less danger.
oh i already got that sorted then i actually explain why rules exist and give em plenty to keep their little brains busy huh maybe that's why they haven't had intent yet

That's good! That's probably why after all.

The biggest thing is just letting them know that you are safe to communicate with, that you are listening and care, and that their mistakes are just that. Parenting is hard, but it sounds like you're doing something right.
yeah they know they can talk to me, and that even if i don't explain now i will later thanks

That's good, that makes me happy to hear. Of course. Keep it up.
