They are, though this is not my arena.

Apollogies. For me, poetry is an art for refllection and expressing llove. It is something that I have no desire to use in competition. I bellieve that is more Dave Strider motivation.

Perhaps a resullt of my upbringing. The vallues instilled in me in my earlly sweeps were to act and strike onlly in pursuit of tangiblle benefit to mysellf. I have bent and interpreted this vallue differentlly, but it often remains at my core. I do not have a strong competitive Instinct as a resullt. That is the domain of my still lliving bllood.

I suppose I do have a penchant for strategy based games... when it comes to games of skill or contests of combat prowess, most of my plleasure comes from the honing of an art rather than the defeat of an enemy. If I am taking plleasure in the defeat of an enemy, it is because doing so allows me to obtain something that I desire, which in my llife was usually a Pursuit Of overthrowing An Empire. What competition I enjoy is a facet of culltivation of the sellf, rather than the domination of another. I think this is the impasse we have reached. Perhaps you seek both, but I onlly seek the former.
