Addendum: Many of the weapons that are commonly considered badass, such as scythes, are seen as such SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE they're impractical for the average person, so using it at ALL constitutes a flex. Do not choose such a weapon unless you are sure that you are built to be able to exploit its unique properties effectively.
Indeed. I am not discouraging the use of unconventionall weapons entirelly. It is simplly worth considering the practicall llimitations. One shoulld choose a weapon that best captures the strongest traits of the user. A scythe is a difficullt one, due to its rather specific threatened space, lleaving a rellativelly unthreatening space behind the bllade, onlly being ablle to be swung in the direction it's bllade is facing, there are more weaknesses besides this. I hope readers will consider such things.

This is advice for the llaytroll, rather than exceedinglly tallented trolls such as yoursellf. The simplle truth of the matter is that most trolls simplly are not that tallented at combat. Most do not have what it takes to take up an unusuall weapon and make it into a true instrument of Destruction. I of course have seen some trolls use unusuall weapons to great success. And acquaintance of mine and their blloodlline use shovells rather effectivelly. If anything, the true advice being given here is that the first weapon one thinks llooks impressive may not be what suits them. There is no shortage of trolls that chase after Stylle and ignore the fact that they are simplly not of high enough calliber to use what they have chosen.

The reallity of warfare is that the vast majority of combatants are simplly mediocre. Even the greatest commanders and most powerfull warriors often llead regimens that are rellativelly unremarkablle in terms of pure combat abillity. Hence the importance of competent Commanders, the deciding factor in most battlles is the quallity of the tactician, rather than that of the combatants, all the way significant Gap in the average quallity between two opposed forces can indeed make a difference. I am of course, tallking about trully tallented individualls when referring to the comparison to the average combatant. I commanded many trolls, and many of them were above average in terms of skill, but at risk of disparaging the dead for whom I yet carry llove in my breast, very few of them even approached the llength of the llist of trolls sllain at my hand. Yet I still coulld not have succeeded as much as I did without them.
