Love is just a chemical reaction that compels animals or any species to reproduce, it isn't anything really deep down. And sometimes love when not romantic can be maternal but truthfully at the end of the day love is nothing more than something your brain plays to preserve yourself and possibly your loved ones well being and carry on your species.
Ain't that a bit nihilistic. Also kinda pointless besides. With that sort of mindset, everything's a goddamn chemical reaction. Your emotions, your thoughts, the very idea of a "self." Shit, maybe that individuality itself is a facade, since beyond the flesh and bone, we're all compromised of the same grey matter. Who gives a fuck if they're a chemical reaction. That's just a description we ascribe to the scientific processes behind our wetware conglomerate. Doesn't make it any less real, unless you're specifically offended that love isn't some magic force of nature or law of reality to give our lives meaning. It isn't. Does that make it any less real?
Well I'm not saying it's worthless, just saying that people often overvalue it! It's the same as sadness, anger, joy, people ranking emotions is hardly a wise move. :)
It doesn't truthfully, but the nihilism is more of an apathy, everything is just a chemical in your brain of stimulation and love is no different. People are often obsessed with it like it's some pure feeling when really it is just another in the pile. :)
not exactly how it came across in your post. you seemed to be undervaluing it not saying it's equivalent to other emotions. and people will rank everything, it's a matter of perspective and opinion, not an overall declaration that "this is the best one!" when someone values love more than others.
It is a bit funny coming from me isn't it? Perhaps I'm just seeking attention again wanting a ride out of people for entertainment. :)
Perhaps, though if I'm being quite painfully honest I don't care what anyone else says on the matter, love is just overrated. :)

Haha, you're amusing! I'm plenty old thank you and precisely that what I say is fact and I like it that way. I won't pushback on it why would I? I only have ever in my entire life cared about what I think. :)
