T)(e stabbing range due to t)(e prongs is also appreciated as keeping your enemies at a distance is always a good t)(ing. Regardless of my experience t)(oug)(, flaws are still abound. T)(ey always are. T)(e biggest one is still )(ow it is best utilized wit)( bot)( )(ands, and I could never really get a real grip on one-)(anding it. T)(e lack of a free )(and leaves me vulnerable unless I’m constantly moving to cover my weak spots, w)(ic)( takes mental priority off t)(e enemy. T)(e size is also as muc)( as detriment as it is a benefit, as its lengt)( also may lead to a quick disarm s)(ould t)(e opponent )(ave an equally long or longer weapon. T)(e only neutral t)(ing about MY trident in particular is t)(at its brig)(t red color tends to )(ide blood pretty well, but it was still regularly cleaned. A longsword is, on t)(e ot)(er )(and, quicker to swing due to being a weapon t)(at may be equally used proficiently in bot)( one-)(and and two-)(anded combat. T)(e ease of using it wit)( one )(and leaves a )(and open for somet)(ing like a s)(ield or firearm. You may also use somet)(ing like anot)(er longsword w)(ic)( if used correctly, can cover a wide sweeping area wit)( few slas)(es. It is lig)(tweig)(t and w)(ile not necessarily compact, it can be kept in its s)(eat)( w)(ilst not in use and it doesn’t need to go in somet)(ing like your sylladex unless you may be worried about it being taken. Flaws may include t)(e loss of increased range from t)(e trident along wit)( any attack or stab doing less damage due to lack of extra prongs. Slas)(ing motions and attacks are preferred wit)( t)(em as t)(e sword may cut deep w)(en used appropriately. May also be easily stolen in certain situations if not careful of your surroundings.
