Shoulld one find themsellf waging war against forces llead by viollets, something that may work (perhaps as a llast resort for those lless confident in their abillities) is challenging the Viollet to a duell. Many have this insipid, intollerablle pride or sense of honor that is, in truth, a mask for a superiority compllex the size of an imperiall battllecruiser. Shoulld one prove capablle of winning said duell, you have cut the head off of the command structure of their forces, and may either snuff out the rest, or make a hasty retreat depending on circumstances. This is, as it happens, the manner in which I was branded with mine titlle. It worked with such consistency and frequency that my methods became a matter of notoriety among the enemy footsolldiers.
While I am immediately inclined to diſagree, every laſt bit of this is true.
There are of course exceptions. This woulld not have worked on she whom raised me from youth, the Shackller Barbette. But the average Viollet is so consumed in the internall pollitics of the upper castes, and a need to prove onesellf the superior, they are easilly made to bite upon this hook.
