Baseball bats are pretty accessible. Light enough to swing, hard enough to serve you well.
If you place a sock over it, whoever you're swinging at won't be able to grab the bat to disarm you.
i see... im kinda frail in my arm strength so maybe I'll give that advice to someone else if needed ⊙﹏⊙
Hmm. How about a staff? You can fashion one from anything. Broom handle, yardstick, etc. Same principle, but lighter and thinner, so it's much easier to swing.
Of course, there's the standard self defense stuff like tasers and pepper spray, but they're more for, well, defense.
