I allow him to wrap his hand around my throat. He doesn’t squeeze. Scar tissue is insanely sensitive to pressure despite being largely numb to most types of sensation. Everything feels heavier than it is. Am I stupid for letting him? I’ve made it clear what I want but he’s refusing to take the final step. Do I press? Lean into his palm? But then there comes the concern that he’ll reel back and never place his hand on me again.
