It broke her horn, shattered her skull, and damaged a large amount of thinkpan matter. She nearly died. It was very, very close. It was also a long, and arduous recovery to even have her be conscious again. And even now, she is still recovering. It took sweeps for her to recognise me, longer for her to speak, and she still struggles with basic tasks and movement. I have stood by her through it all, and I will continue to do so. Your fellow helmsman is not my matesprit, and I admit that. But it would be cruel of me to not see such similar pain, and deny them of that recovery. I will be patient with them. I will be kind with them. I will get frustrated and saddened, but I will not subject them to that, when it may harm their recovery. So please. Do not panic. They will be safe with me. My moirail will also be with us. She is similarly not unfamiliar with the care of someone without the ability to truly consent. We will do our best.
