I was frankly not expecting for there to be such a staunch demand to participate! I'm beginning to think people may not know that a Charity Ball entails the act of, well, spending money! But we'll be opening the annex for any walk-ins and persons solely interested in mingling!

As someone who has 8een a participant of this we8site for a few weeks now, I have witnessed events come and go, and the consensus is that the turn-out num8ers can 8e quite overwhelming for the hosts. Perhaps the prospect of generosity will dissuade the more...mis8ehaved individuals from attending. What are you raising the funds for, if I may ask?
Our intentions with the ball is twofold! One is to open our doors to our Earthern and Alternian peers and two is to fund various edicts and projects promised after the recent elections promise of bringing the Light of Democracy to Midnight City! Concerns such as expansion, cleaner air and higher pollution standards, but most importantly a purge of corruption and criminal influence from gangs like The Felt and Midnight Crew in all walks of life within the city! We already received sponsorships from several notable corporations as well as the governments of both Alternia and Earth-C, so we hope to deliver on the trust these sponsors have given us with an absolute joy of an event!
