Ive come to find that coming across other versions of yourself is like walking past a funhouse mirror. It's you and yet it does not entirely line up with your perception of yourself. It instills a rather odd feeling within me - because I can't help but wonder... had I been in that Rose's shoes, would I have turned out any different? Or would I have walked the same path?

Countless outcomes you all have something in common someone out there who is related to you in one way or another. I don't have any knowledge of myself but from what Ive seen in memories one different mistake could have made you any of the variants you see.
That does appear to be how things work...however I do not think I could ever be with a man. Me getting betrothed to an elder god is more likely than that
I suppose that is reasonable, think of your other selves as completely different people. They are not truthfully you they have not had the same experiences. It is possible they just have the capability, or they are doing it unwillingly or have just not realized. There are a million different reasons across a million different memories and I have lived all the forgotten ones. I believe I have a decent understanding of it.
I do have to say I am rather glad we are not a hivemind. A rose hivemind sounds like a miserable experience
That would be difficult for you all I imagine, from experience or having multiple different peoples memories loop simultaneously it is not pleasant.
