it's fine, it's respectable rambling that isn't meant to make me want to implode. i welcome that! which, speaking of... i don't mind the vaguely weird sex. i've actively had things for trolls. there's not really any *escaping* the vaguely weird sex. there's not even much avoiding it when it comes to having it with other humans! it's cool, it's whatever. and maybe i'm just *not* around when people are being normal, but i'd *like* to think i'm around often enough to know how the dash gets when things are chill and uneventful and generally as close to "normal" as it can get, and the people who do the outwardly very weird shit go in full throttle! i can even sort of understand if it was just being flirty or advertising someone's onlyfins or whatever, but the sheer *enthusiasm* a lot of people on here have for just typing out how they want to be used or want TO use other people is genuinely concerning! the VOLUME of it is concerning. you cannot tell me there hasn't been a day that's gone by where less than five people mention anything related to choking down girl bulge or just straight up giving us the play by play about their sex life! they're doing it *because* they want people to see it! they get off on it! it's a gross word, but if that's not textbook deviancy, i'dunno what is.
i am really only going to argue that you're right on the alcoholism part, but i feel like it's important to realize that even just the *use* of this shit inevitably affects the social behavior! i mean, you've *seen* how many ro-lals we got around who are just... never happy, right? they're always either drunk, confused, or worrying about something. i'm cool with social drinking, but the ratio of social drinkers to people who are *clearly* struggling with alcoholism is way out of whack. and the cokeheads are just... generally worse. say what you want about alcohol, but i genuinely don't see much upside to harder stuff that isn't eventually outweighed by it making you miserable to be around. and the problem is, we're immortal, you're right. the people who get into that shit don't really have the same incentive to pump the brakes, because it's not like they're actually gonna die from an overdose. but a lot of the *other* consequences are still very real. addiction, dependency, frying your brain, wrecking your relationships? that all sticks around! if anything, immortality makes it *harder* to get help, because it's easier to convince yourself you've got forever to deal with it later. we're already dysfunctional enough while sober. we really don't need to be permanently blitzed out of our minds, too.
