It's chill. I probably shouldn't be bitching at you anyway. You don't have to do all that. ...Frankly, my attitude's the likely problem, but it's not like he's made himself all that likeable. Pretty sure he's been trying to actively piss me off the whole damn time.
i'm not about to psychoanalyze hal but i'm sure he's got his reasons. doesn't mean it's fun to interact with. i hope things go well. i'd say try being genuine, since that works for me, but uh. i am an outlier and should not be counted.
