D --> #equiusvault Number 3: Ragnarok D --> Status: Gift D --> I created this knife for a battlefield companion who utilized throwing knives and a sort of solar magic D --> The blade is a near-black red crystalline material I composed out of what was purposed to be the b100d of the mythical wolf Skoll D --> I fashioned the slight crossguard to resemble the open jaw of a wolf, gaping as if it was eating the blade, or the sheath when it is hilted D --> The knife, and it's magic, was designed to be drawn to sources of solar fire, automatically redirecting in the air to strike anyone who might have been ignited by my companion's firey attacks D --> It's components played an important role in this matter and allow the knife to have a sort of consciousness, and curve around objects that are not inflicted with the flame to find their intended target, or to redirect to new sources of heat automatically to strike multiple foes in turn D --> Retrieving the knife was designed to be easy- I made it detect the specific heat signature of my companion's specialized high-power solar weapon so that when he switched to it, the knife would automatically put itself away in it's sheath until brought out again D --> The sheath itself, designed in motif to resemble the sun with carved rubies decorating it, would suppress the knife's powers, making sure it only worked when drawn
