D --> #equiusvault Number 6: Voidslipper Knife D --> Status: In Vault, On Display D --> One of my earlier creations with the assistance of Igaiodh'itrorh, Voidslipper is a small blade, only a few inches long D --> It is made of a black metal whose properties and origin I cannot openly divulge lest I wish to inflict grimdarkness upon some of you reading, that shall henceforth be referred to as void metal in future #equiusvault posts D --> The knife was created in order to test a theoretical sort of void manip001ation I was unable to successfully recreate with my powers themselves D --> In essence, the blade is able to slice Space, voiding it away to a quantity dependent on the amount of force e%hibited by a slash or thrust of the blade D --> This cutting of space allows one to, in perspective, be transported very suddenly closer to their target D --> It is an unstable form of teleportation, and has multiple notable downsides compared to other methods, such as being unable to teleport behind someone, but the reorientation of space can be equally as disorienting for the foe as it is for the user D --> Considering the user will know how to cope with this disorientation through training, this gives them a distinct if momentary advantage D --> While a crude design compared to my more modern works, Voidslipper remains a useful t001 D --> The weapon, being one I designed myself, is benign in Intent, so it is available freely on display in my vault with little additional precaution needed in it's containment D --> And no Jack you can't have it
