[FEEDBACK] The stereotypical noir detective character is totally in right now, though. Lean a little into it.
• i guess i have seen a couple stereotypical noir detectives around • still, the noir-chic just makes me feel a little ridiculous • like "oh yeah of course you would drink your coffee black, ed" • "of course you're making a conspiracy board in the dark of your office" • "yeah you WOULD sit by the window with a cigarette and some smooth lounge jazz playing on your vintage radio, ed" • it just gets a little cartoonish, doesn't it?
[FEEDBACK] Damn, thankfully even although I, myself, do any of that, no one would suspect me as a detective as they would you. Maybe you need to throw them off a bit.
