Don't be so worried. I do it all the time by means of body hopping. It's perfectly safe if you know how to dispose of the less than desirable realities. Typically you can asertain the ones you want to avoid by asking questions such as: "Where are your friends." "Can I speak directly to your denizen?" "What are your intentions with my timeline?" "Sell me this pen." And many others.
Namely the ones involving murder of friends and family, take over via outerworld malevolent entity, ECT. There are many. Far too many to go over. On a serious note, I do advise being a little more discerning with whom you allow here. I would hate for a wonderful planet such as this to be the subject to potential hostile takeover if shown to the wrong force majeure.
