Do you know what lies beyond the limits of which most refuse to go beyond?
PROFILE MASTER POST. -- Hello, welcome to the profile of the Traveler Rose AU. Better known as Lalonde. -- Traveler Rose, simply put, is a Rose who, much like every other Rose, shifted bodies when the end of her timeline came for her and merged into the Alpha. But not every Rose who did that ended up in the Alpha, so what happens when you have a Rose with that ability fresh on her mind as a means of escape? You get Lalonde. Lalonde is a Rose who kept doing it, who kept jumping into bodies and who kept exploring new worlds in an effort to find something, any way to game Sburb into letting her and her friends have a happy ending, but of course, that kind of power comes with a cost. Every jump she made lead to different Roses becoming absorbed into her whole, practically cannibalizing on their memories, thoughts, feelings, their entire lives. She still retains a sense of self, still knows the difference of the mass from herself, but still attaches herself to this notion of 'oneness'. It's hard not to when you are practically all of you. It's like an image layered on itself, a xerox of a xerox. These Roses have no idea or inclination for what is going to happen to them. They simply become one part of a greater whole, sometimes sharing words with the main one, Lalonde and expressly offering their feelings. It's uncertain if the Roses she inhabits die when she leaves them, leaving their bodies there completely empty, or if they simply continue existing as though she'd never been there at all, leaving not a trace, or if they simply disappear entirely and join her light. By this point, the original point of her jumps ceased to be in the act of doing it, she does it simply for the point that she can. She knows what she is, or at least has a good idea of what she should be according to her own self reflection, taking herself as a cancerous cell amongst the Roses of Paradox Space. Lalonde has been many things, if there's a species, she's been it. A specific caste? She's been it. Your cat you named Rose who disappeared or died? That may have been her. She cannot pick the body she jumps into, only that she decides when it happens by taking a specific kind of sleep with intention. Lalonde is, however, capable of projecting a form of her own light if given specific locations special to the people who wish to see her. This is really just to justify her appearances at events, though I suppose it could be possible to have her attend in different bodies each time. But this is just so we can keep the sense of design similar. The construct is much like Rose, only the features you can make out are ones most identifiable with her. Such as the hair band, her hair itself, her lilac purple eyes and the orange hue of her aspect. CW for things like #cw-unreality, #cw-mindfuckery, #cw-kindofbadpeople, #cw-bodysnatching, #gore, occasional #nsfw topics and maybe a horny post here and there and whatever other ideas I'll have for realities she visits. If you are a Rose or Lalonde adjacent with the intention of being a Rose alternate, hit me up! Maybe we could discuss plotting around a possible body take over, or assumption of one's memories, or something else entirely! I'll bite. I love plotting.
