(( I don't want to fuel what is going on, but these random accusations from someone I don't even know is completely uncalled for. The evidence shown is from something Mindfang said IN CHARACTER THREE YEARS AGO. In character DOES NOT equal my OUT OF CHARACTER opinions. The context of that screenshot for those who have seen it is her talking about June's new name. Some information on my muse is that after she had gone through the grooming of Scratch she changed her name to Aranah. And there was a reoccurring theme where, whenever someone didn't like what she said, they would call her by Aranea, a name she no longer felt represented her and was associated with bad memories of her previous life where she had been groomed. So that message was her trying to point out that nobody seems to find an issue when they deadname her. The story that I wanted to tell was that anyone can change their name, trans, cis, people who went through abuse to help them find comfort in themselves and move onto the next chapter in their life. It's upsetting to see one message be twisted in the opposite message I wanted and then turned to attack who I am OOC. Mindfang was an alien, IC I wrote what she said in a more black and white way because she does not understand trans issues as an 18th century pirate. But she is not demeaning June's identity she was only pointing out the hypocrisy of muses who would deadname her. The other screenshot is of me and my friend's conversation being taken out of context. In the second screenshot I am having a conversation with my biologist trans friend. I honestly cannot tell you the context of where that conversation emerged from about chromosomes because it was 3 years ago, but it was never to attack trans women. I'm sorry that I had to bring this out right here, I'm shaking as I'm typing this because I would never want to exclude trans women or men, or anyone for that matter. I really just wanted to come here and roleplay with new people, from all different walks of life. It's upsetting to see so many people I enjoyed the writing of now block me because they were told in private messages out of context screenshots where I could not defend myself, or even explain the origins of them. And can people please stop turning this OOC issue into something your muse IC talks about. Please learn proper etiquette and how serious these allegations are. ((hi! nonbinary biologist friend, wanted to clarify in the second image of "evidence" they were referring to me as having male chromosomes in a joking way that played into my love of biology. as a biologist i feel the need to confirm that biological sex does not represent a person's gender identity, and i do not view someone mixing up scientific terms with societal terms to be transphobic ideology.
