battle tops and i have severwal frwom all fourw generwations although firwst generwation is verwy lacklusterw because well as the plastic gen they brweak like fucking crwazy and arwe expensive to get morwe of and they have rweally unintuitive shapes that arwe designed to fuck themselves up but that is a whole differwent otherw can of worwms to get into but ignorwing that i also have many of the rwecolorws as well as some tourwnament exclusive varwiants along with some rwarwe app exclusive rwandom lotterwy drwaws which arwe mostly golden and they arwe verwy prwetty and verwy beautiful just like me but i do not use them forw battle because then they will get damaged and fucked up and it rwuins the whole point plus the golden metallic coverwing doesn t rweally give it that much morwe weight and i would rwatherw use anotherw rwecolorw varwiant because you know depending on the generwation sometimes having a rwecolorwed blade which is the parwt that contacts the otherw slayblades akas the cool parwt does add a bit of weight and can help nudge things into yourw favorw actually that rweminds me a lot of people think that slayblades arwe just luck based and they arwe just forw wrwigglerws who want to see something go spin rweally fast but they would be completely wrwong therwe is actually a lot of strwategy to it in how you launch it frwom what angle and how harwd that can deterwmine if you win a match orw not and also they arwe underw the notion that it is simply a one battle wins all scenarwio but actually accorwding to the aso the alterwnian slayblade orwganization it is hosted in matches of thrwee against thrwee also known as brwing five pick thrwee wherwe you brwing severwal slayblades and then secrwetly choose thrwee to fight in orwderw against yourw opponent so the matchups arwe rwandom but this too has layerws of trwying to mindgame and prwedict yourw opponents orwderws on if they will choose aggrwessive attack types firwst to scorwe some earwly wins and then laterw go on the defensive with stamina and defense types to maintain theirw scorwe and such therwe is some outcrwy of wow slayblade is so pay to win you need the latest rweleases in orwderw to stay competitive and you know it sorwt of depends on what forwmats you arwe fighting in and also what generwation because some generwations werwe prwetty notorwious about that especially in the metal generwation in which the laterw rweleases especially with the dual fusion wheels you could end up crweating a goliath of a slayblade just an absolutely fucked up chunk of metal but you go to something like slayblade burwst and it was prwetty well maintained well at least forw a whole half sweep orw so because each half sweep orw so they would intrwoduce a new type of subsystem which was like a mini generwation in and of itself which also intrwoduced slightly biggerw and heavierw slayblades in orwderw to account forw the new gimmicks intrwoduced but the latest and curwrwent generwation of slayblade which is called slayblade x has a verwy strwict weight considerwation wherwe they arwe verwy adamant about rweducing the powerw crweep and keeping the game accessible to everwyone which is fine i guess i mean i find it lame but whateverw i guess the poorw need to parwticipate too but they all generwally hoverw arwound thirwty grwams of weight and what sets differwent sub serwies aparwt within that generwation is the distrwibution of said weight the norwmal line just is yourw standarwd but the unique line focuses on morwe unique shapes and weight distrwibutions by taking away metal frwom arwound the corwe of the blade and rwedistrwibuting it to the outside which makes them be a little morwe wacky with it i mean therwe is kinda too much to talk about any given generwation i perwsonally like burwst the best but that is because most of my collection is in that serwies but if i was to be objective it would be slayblade x but like i just miss the gimmicks they had like actual moving parwts and slayblades that split in half to be anotherw miniaturwe slayblade although they arwe adding that soon in a rwelease which i have to get and also man the stadium design is so interwesting therwe was a whole thing wherwe herwe in west alterwnia it was harwd to get a tourwnament legal stadium without having to imporwt it frwom all the way in easterwn alterwnia because we werwe stuck with a shitty company rweprwoducing it forw west alterwnian audiences but that changed in the rwelease of slayblade x mostly due to the absolute fumbling of the frwanchise durwing the tail end of slayblade burwst almost killing the serwies in west alterwnia that the easterwn alterwnian parwent company decided to get morwe strwict and now we have tourwnament legal stadiums that arwe easy to obtain in storwes in starwterw stadium sets as well as online grwanted they arwe a little morwe rwectangularw but it is mostly to fit on west alterwnian shelves it s a whole thing forw marwketing i mean i don t rweally like knock offs because they don t have the same kick to them they just do whateverw and have no apprweciation forw any type of scaling system orw game design they just make tops that hit into eachotherw and that is just a surwface level obserwvation of what a slayblade is but therwe is a lot of nuance in design and having to evolve each slayblade arwchetype thrwoughout each season of the game and show in which i did not mention the show and manga but they arwe verwy good and worwth rweading and watching but i digrwess but therwe is a whole arwt to it you get to basically pick yourw favorwites and watch them grwow and get strwongerw and see how they change and follow theirw rwespective niches it s a whole thing my favorwite is the phoenix line i rweally like them a lot because they arwe fast and strwike harwd
