in my mind palace gideon makes a SHIT TON of money catfishing human christians into believing he's a totally-human pastor and preys on the insecure, offering them salvation through online / cameraless zoom call prayer and guidance and shit like that. they're never seen his face, but his followers totally believe in his ability to preach the lord's word. completely suckered into gideon's self-proclaimed righteousness. they really do think he's a modern-day prophet little do they know he's a fucking alien that looks closer to a devil than not!!! ))
