If any two-bit, pedestrian #Yaoi was a puddle, #Sasunaru would be an oceanianic trench filled with massive, terrifying beasts yet undiscovered by trollkind. 🞜 i wont argue with you that its foundational but i will say that being foundational has its roots in being pedestrian. 🞜 the issue is in the lack of subtlety. naruto is expected to fall in with his highblooded comrade in arms and and the contrasts of all that makes them "them" is expected. 🞜 this is a good starting point. as i pointed out earlier. 🞜 you need these stepping stones to get to the real juicy bits. 🞜 gaara <3> roclee for instance which was even briefly shaken up by kaguyas insertion into the story which created a delicious ashen dynamic. 🞜 up until his bones were fully ground to dust. haha. 🞜 i will always be a shooter for the deeper fringes. you can just draw the n00bs in. it is an acceptable feat for bl.
I'm not so blind as to argue against the compelling dynamic of Gaara/Rock Lee. But to take a pairing that has one climactic scene. And compare it to a pairing that builds the very foundation of the series and its core themes, specifically in regards to *DEEPNESS,* I REMIND YXU. IS THE WXRD YXU USED. Is willing ignorance. It's lunacy. Literally no respect for the classics. I can understand hating a popular ship with no little to no merit. But #Sasunaru has more than seen its trials by fire. 🞜 anyway i think it is okay to admit that you are too blinded by the garish spectacle to appreciate the more subtle pairings looped through the narrative. we need entry level ships for that reason.
