This next submission actually has /three/ questions! What fun! Question: What are your religious restrictions in the context of Alternia's culture? How do you navigate a culture that looks down upon religions that aren't part of the clown church? Do you find it easier to get along with clown church members? Or do you find yourself at odds with them? What life style practices do you perform? Are you Catholic specifically (suffering is good) or Protestant (pleasure bad)? As there are quite a few questions here, I will try to be a little more brief, but still provide to a hopefully satisfactory level! Alternia's culture does not lend itself well to the Christian teachings, and without a doubt that complicates things for me. To exist in a society that rewards the violent and punishes the kindhearted is to exist in a society that rewards sin. But it's not the fault of the masses, as troll culture was designed to test the faithful. Our creation as a species in itself is a test from God! It takes a careful step to navigate a society such as this, which is why I frankly do not leave the cathedral all too often. That said, Alternia's rejection of other religions is also a part of the design of God's test, so I don't pay it much heed outside of a mountain I am destined to scale for the sake of bringing trollkind to salvation. I care very little for the clown church. They live and worship in hedonism and violence. I do not cast judgement to the extent that I would not offer my hand in guidance towards God's light should one seek it, rather I would rejoice to see such a thing! But generally I do not bother all too much with their like. It's not worth my time. I do not adhere to one strict denomination of the Christian teachings. I find that restricting yourself to these... silly little boxes... takes away from the core teachings of God. With this in mind, I am not Catholic nor Protestant nor any of that. I am a child of God through and through. As far as lifestyle practices go, this can vary depending on the specifies, but in simplest terms I tend to align myself with the 10 Commandments and the teachings found within the bible.
