ok hi!! welcome to #taverntelltails!! where i post a scenario hopefully every single night and people can post what they would do in a certain scenario!! i want to extend thiss to having paths too but ill work it out... >X3 but if people play along, and write their answers, ill put out a second post declaring what would happen if you pick a certain choice!!! anyway!! furst scenario fur the night: you and your party stop by a roadside tavern. the door swings open and youre met with the smell of pungent, almost fruity odors of booze, lanterns with an unnatural blue lighting dangle from the ceiling, and the place looks rustic and hivey. the silence when you all enter is... deafening, borderline suffocating when all bulbs felt like they were on you, but you werent certain and your party felt it was all too suspicious, as if youve all done something terribly wrong... still, one of your members insisted on going, since you all have been walking so far and need a rest. one patron, low and grumbly, speaks out, tapping hiss mug on the counter, all others do so in unison, as a sign of code or simply mimicking. "if youre gonna be here, you have to make sure yer not one a them..." them? whats them? without warning, two burly, grisly men start stomping toward your partys direction and drops a fat chest in front of you. shiny. something that looked like it carr13d more loot than the whole party was carrying--worth more too, likely. but... it was a test. it was definitely a test. what you do is how they determine whether or not youre something of the unsavoury kind... do you... a.) open the box and see what the tavern is testing fur b.) refuse and demand an explanation c.) [conspicuous] use magic to see whats in the box d.) call out the taverngoers bluff and see if anyone flinches out e.) attempt to leave the tavern
