chemical bonds are so cute when you think about them!! atoms just decide they would be more stable if they shared some electrons with each other and suddenly theyre attached covalent bonds are basically “this belongs to both of us now”, ionic bonds are one atom going “fine you can have it”, and hydrogen bonds are weaker little attractions that still end up being incredibly important chemistry is mostly just figuring out who wants whose electrons and how tightly theyre going to hold onto them. theres a surprising amount of puppy love involved in molecular structure!!!
