Anonymous querist: "you are very interesting to me when did you learn that you were transgender i am not familiar with the intricacies of transition because of reasons that i will not share to maintain anonymity but i am curious because i do not know a lot about having a body so the character limit reached" What a shame that the character limit was reached. However I will answer what has been sent. My experience is that of my own and does not reflect the lived experiences of others. As a child, I simply did not understand what the differences truly were between genders at all, I gravitated quite naturally to activities and traits that seem to be attributed to both categories. Once I started developing secondary sex characteristics during pubescence, that is when I grew disillusioned with the reflection in the mirror. Through a great many years of research throughout my teenhood, I applied what I had learned to myself, and realised that I was always a man, and that I would prefer to be perceived as such in society. My styling and presentation as gender non-conforming simply is an aesthetically pleasing challenge to maintain, and is a near tradition in many 'goth' spaces that men do appear rather androgynous. I like the style.
