[BROADCAST ENTRY] Good afternoon, folks. /Seventh Echo/, tuning in. I've been thinking about how /strange/ old recordings are. You can hear somebody speaking from sweeps ago into the mic, completely unaware at that moment that no one will hear their voice again. All kept within the recording. Every little pause and breath preserved exactly where they left it. I found an old weather report earlier. Nothing special. Just some troll talking about temperatures, wind conditions, and an incoming acid storm. But there's something /weirdly intimate/ about it. They sound so certain about what tomorrow is going to look like. Then tomorrow happens, and they're not there to see it. I think that's why I like recordings so much. They preserve somebody's certainty even after the world has proven them wrong. Anyway, I've been listening to old broadcasts all morning instead of sleeping. Highly recommend it. There's something /comforting/ about hearing a voice that has no idea you're listening sweeps later. Like you're remembering their existence. For what they brought in this world. Same thing with videos. You think that'll be me, one night? I'll record something not knowing it'll be my last night? And I won't know people might be listening to it? Morbid, but tracks for us. We will return shortly after this small break.
