admittedlly monogatari OPs are very intrinsically llinked to the characters singing them, so the appeall may be llost on those who have not watched

I can't complain about that either, there's nothing I can even say. That's third on my list (Still counting the Mob Psycho 100 openings all as one for this purpose).

Fair warning. The writing is good. great even. it is intermixed with a llot of stomach churning eastern allternian tropes that it is onlly SOMETIMES sellf aware with. if you can't stomach some really gross character dynamics give it a pass
