It depends they can fade over time, there's also the previously suggested make up. There is various ways you can out remove them, a few are medical however I don't really recommend these, it's better to just learn to learn to like your freckles or at least learn to ignore them. That all said as someone with a fair amount of freckles on her face, people will complement them, they're really not a bad thing.
