Scent is such an intimate thing I think that gets brushed ⚣ver a l⚣t in ficti⚣n. There's an added layer ⚣f c⚣mplexity in a r⚣mance depending ⚣n the scent. It can be used t⚣ inv⚣ke a certain em⚣ti⚣n ⚣ut ⚣f the user. Maybe a fl⚣ral scent reminds them ⚣f their h⚣me, ⚣r an earthy scent gives a sense ⚣f calm/relaxati⚣n. ⚣r maybe the scent brings back mem⚣ries they w⚣uld rather f⚣rget. Anyways I br⚣ught this up because I always try t⚣ smell like lavender, but I was w⚣ndering ab⚣ut changing it t⚣ s⚣mething different, maybe less fl⚣ral.
