i do sometymes wonder if thyngs would have resolved better if there had been a dyfferent aspect for me. if i were intended to shyne, rather than to cast a shadow, would i have fallen the same way? would our session have succeeded? but if that were the case, there would never have been the opportunity to meet these versions of my friends who seem to be so much more vigorous and warm. despyte they hatched upon, due to the inadequacies of our original team. due to my own inadequacies. i thynk it is a bytter pyll to swallow, to know that one's own thryving was never intended to occur, or symply couldn't to make a compelling narrative for sgrub to properly root itsylf in. but lyke most wytches, my role was to make a pact wyth a power that was beyond most people's ken, and see thyngs through for someone else to play the true hero. i've made my peace wyth that, i thynk. but when i thynk of the world they wyll bring to fruition, i can't help but feel a lyttle styrring of some pain where my pusher once beat. it's very improper to be a poor sport, or to sulk when one looses, but i am jealous. i'm so happy that they wyll have a chance to make a place better and kynder than that whych birthed either of our culltures, but that door wyll close, and some tyme after, the rest of us who failed wyll utterly cease to exyst. we may be memories, we may even be honored, but what of our data? our saves are essentially gone. it is very sylfish of me, and not very voidlyke of me, i suppose, but i don't want to not exist.
I do not know what happened to you and I will not act like I do 8ut I hope to offer you a 8it of hope and acceptance with my words. I think it is only natural for people to push focus onto the 8righter half of the LightVoid dynamic and disregard Void as a aspect of pure irrelevance and uninterest 8ut I feel that undermines it's 8eauty and necessity. Void is not simply a8out the lack of existence, it is a8out the potentially of what could exist! Wh8tever choices you may or may not have made that led you to this moment were not purely an act of your game denoting you as an unnecessary stepping stone 8ut an act of your game weaving your existence into the very foundation of your sessions story. You will never not exist 8ecause as your aspect will teach you, the only way for something to not exist is for it to have the possi8ility to exist in the first place. You are eternally present, even after your death.
