That's rough... Ultimately, though, you don't want him bringing any friends around and having them become dependent on you. The harm domestication's caused to many wizard populations is well documented, but I get that it doesn't make it easier.

Unfortunately, at least to my knowledge, spells like 'Create Food and Water', along with 'Goodberry', and 'Hero's Feast' are generally inaccessible through ways of arcane magic.
