all through high school i continued loving fantasy stories. princesses, unicorns, wizards, fairies, dragons, knights, mermaids. scifi not so much. spaceships, aliens, time travel. that was too close to home. i wanted to think about any world other than the world i was living in. by the time i was college aged, a lot of things changed. most of my delusions of magic and true love i had to shake off. of course i kept hobbies. i would have gone properly insane if i didnt maintain one or two avenues of escapism. all work and no play as they say. but the work has definitely stayed the heavier side of the scale.
aw im really sorry to hear about that, but im really glad you kept the wizard interest. it was definitely one of the things that really made me think about how cool and unique you are when i was a kid! i still have that snowglobe you gave me with the wizard in it, even, haha.
hello joey sweetie. i didnt really expect anyone who knows me personally to be online to see this. thats a bit embarrassing. but im glad to hear about the snowglobe. it means a lot to me that you would keep it for so long. i still have some drawings that you and your brother made saved in a photo album with the pictures we took together.
oh! im really sorry to catch you off guard!!! haha im a bit of a night owl these days so i tend to lurk at these times. but of course i would keep it! you gave me a lot of strength to keep going even when things were tough and ill always keep that in my heart :). and that sounds really sweet, id love to go over them with you sometime! hopefully when we arent so busy or sad posting on chittr so we can try and tip the scales back where they belong :)
you dont have to be sorry about a thing. i feel much better talking to you than i did getting all teary eyed about my youth. going through my albums together would be wonderful. there are a lot of memories in there that i havent touched in years. maybe we can pick a few out to make copies of for you to take with you.
