She returneth. Mostly. Has anybody really noticed my absence? Who knows. The truth is, I've missed each and every one of you during this little break. As to what happened, my laptop ran into an unrecoverable issue called the charger almost set my bed on fire because it was broken. I'm looking to get a replacement for it soon. My other laptop doesn't have my login credentials for everything and, well, I can't remember my Chittr password.

(( OOC and totally, the newer laptops are just not coming with robust power solutions, the gaming laptop I procured within the last year does not have a power adapter sized to fit it's compliment of components. A larger wattage adapter for this unit does not exist yet, and I believe the BIOS is locked down so even if a adapter of proper capacity was plugged into it, the laptop would not recognize it or be able to pull from it, but at the very least it would run cooler. I had to do some very unconventional engineering to be able to use this specific power brick on my own bed without setting it ablaze, and I am not kidding, this is what I did for a temporary fix. )) <u>https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/5f1f5318d117.png</u>
((Mine was just bent too much, I shifted to put my laptop on the desk to go sleep and started smelling burning plastic, then saw a couple sparks. Then bigger sparks. Then flame. I was quick enough to pat the fire down and unplug the laptop, then got up to unplug the charger from the power strip. But it was too too close.

IIf you have acce22 two heat2hriink tubiing, you can make your own 2traiin reliief on the end where iit connect2 two the laptop, II have had two do that for people who u2ed theiir machiine2 IIN bed (or on top of them2elve2). II really do not know why they don't make more flexiible cabliing for the power adapter2, or proviide liike an iindu2triial 2trength 2priing loaded 2traiin reliief on tho2e two prevent 2tuff liike thii2 from happeniing. Anyway avoiid counterfeiit adapter2 iif you can, ebay and amazon are chock full of them, 2o II generally contact the manufacturer of the machiine fiir2t two 2ee iif they can proviide me a replacement, occa2iionally they do 2o free of charge iif there wa2 a 'thermal iinciident' wiith the one that came wiith the machiine, even iif the laptop ii2 out of warranty, 2o good luck ))
